“In my paintings most of the characters are in Meditative [Dhyan] mode. Whatever we witness with our open eyes are just scenes, whereas when we think on those scenes with our eyes closed, then only we get to know the real meaning behind those scenes. Moreover I create paintings which have an Indian touch. I believe an artist should depict in his art the ambience from where he resides, the country he belongs to and the culture which has given him the power to create.”
