“Coming from a small town “Kashipur” in Distt. Nainital, U.P to Delhi and getting selected in College of Art of which I had not hard before was a dream come true. After passing out in 1964 joined The Ford Foundation, (A Trust of Henry Ford). Worked for 10 years in Ford… Heading Art and Photography departments. Took V.R.S. in 1974.
Joined International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-arid Tropics (ICRISAT) as Head of Art, photography and printing Departments. Selecting and training the staff and supervising work of 4 Artists, 4 Photographers and 7 Printers. Visited several Art studios and Printing presses in England, France, Germany, Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore for exchange of ideas, style of designing, printing and related new technics in the field of Arts Visited Toppan printing press in Hong Kong, who were famous for printing “Play Boy” magazine. Visited “Camalian press” in England and several presses in Singapore for assessing their printing qualities if they were capable to print our Scientific publications which required very high resolution and detailed output Attended at least 25 in-house workshops in India, England and IIT Bangalore.
Visited “”Druma Exhibition”” in Germany, the biggest Exhibition about printing machinery and Technology. Part of above can be mentioned in my Bio-Date also. I feel “(about yourself)” and Bio-Date have too many similarities in them. “
