The year 2020 has been liberating for me… as a sculptor working with metal, wire and wood.. the complete lockdown made me change my medium… using rope and thread..
to construct and hand stitch… resembling a woven cloth representing… a landscape a linked process of change, of time, memory and mortality…
when what a garment hides in its folds
unfolds
and scatters words and thoughts
the silent rustle of emotion fills
all spaces in between
where to draw the line
then, now, tomorrow beyond
thoughts words and sound
unite
there
somewhere
the weavers harp
quivers
and binds ……/
