Saurav Sahu graduated from the College of Art (New Delhi) in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. He further went on to complete his post graduation at the National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad), specialising in Lifestyle and Accessory Design. His design project ‘Dinner Stack’ with Wrap Art & Design was exhibited at the Kiddell Gallery at Sotheby’s London in 2008.
He worked designing and exploring architectural and interior spaces from 2009 – 2012, following which he has continued his artistic pursuits exploring the abstract through different mediums of expression including photography. Portraiture and exploring the queer mannerisms of the human body form the artist’s primary inclination.
