My fascination with the surroundings around always played an important role in my works. The obvious which is easily missed, the seemingly simple yet Un ignorable all compelled my artistic desire to give them their due representation. Hence from my college days and earlier works around Delhi ‘s monuments I have tried to bring out a simple representation of these.
The gradual understanding of the subjects brought out new facets of the same finding artistic expression in the newer works. Where the roads though on the background are reflective of the journey, which is as important as the destination. The colour’s used are also subtle, which want to convey a message. My ideas behind the works more than anything else are to connect with the audience in offering them a fresh perspective.
It is the minute details which have been paramount for me this is what has made me draw the same works over and over again adding new perspectives. Thus each work stands on it’s own.
