Rajendra Agarwal

Born: 25.09.1939 in Gurgaon, passed National Diploma in Applied Art from College of Art, New Delhi in 1968 in First Division.
Held 22 solo exhibitions, 142 group shows and also participated in several important All India, State, National and International Exhibitions, Seminars and Workshops in India and Abroad since 1964. Awarded in national and state level exhibitions several times.
Apart from India, my works are also exhibited in Belgium, Bulgaria, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, London, Sharjah (UAE) Mexico and USA. I was one of the 12 artists chosen from India for “1001 Reason to Love Earth”. An International Art Exhibition organised in Switzerland.
Awarded “KALA SHRI” Title, presented by Prime Minister of India, 1991; Junior and Senior Fellowship in painting by HRD, Ministry, Govt. of India, excluding 5 more awards. Mentioned in “Who’s Who in India”; “Who’s Who in Indo-European”; “Asia –Men & Women of Achievements”.
Worked as a Jury member for many national and state level exhibitions. Paintings in the collection of various Art Museums, Art Institutions and in private collections in India and abroad.
In November 2022, I had my Retrospective show depicted my 60 YEARS JOURNEY IN ART in which about 100 works were displayed in different Mediums and Forms in two AIFACS galleries.
