After college I joined advertising agency for three years. In 1969, I joined College of Art as lecturer. Along with teaching I started to experiment in silk screen with indigenous material for my own creative expression. This was the time hardly any artist was working in this medium in Delhi. After few experiments I got full control of the medium. I started exhibiting my prints in All India Art exhibitions and abroad also. My works started getting recognition through awards from All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society, Lalit Kala Akademi, International year of childhood 1979 by UNESCO, symbol for rural health scheme, government of India and many other awards.
As a graphic designer I created many logos, symbols for various organizations and companies like Indira Gandhi National open University, Rural Health Scheme, Government of India and others. My name is mentioned in ‘Who’s Who’ in India, ‘Reference Asia’ by Rifacimento International, Mentioned in ‘Five Hundred Leaders of Influence’ by American Biographical Institute Inc. USA and mention in XVII volume of Dictionary of International Biography , Cambridge, England. Visited Czechoslovakia (now Czeckia) on culture exchange programme of University Grants Commission. Attended many artists’ camps/workshops of print making in India. I contributed many works for auction for social cause.
After retirement from College of Art as Professor and officiating principal giving most of the time in art activity of All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society, first as acting Chairman and later elected Chairman. I brought the Society at top level of art activity in the country.
