“Mr. Pradeep Sarkar was born and brought up in Calcutta. In the year 1979, he graduated from the Delhi College of Arts, with a Gold Medal and then began his career in the field of Advertising.
After 17 years in the mainstream advertising, Mr Pradeep Sarkar made a foray into ad film making. His activity and talent came in for a great deal of recognition and his ad films won many a prestigious awards and he himself was honoured with the “Best Director of Ad Films” in the year 2003.After making over a 1000 television commercials, 15 Music videos and directing a few songs for features films as well, Mr. Pradeep Sarkar took a step ahead and directed his first feature film “ Parineeta” “
