Dr. Rimsy Chopra, is a painter with a perception towards the betterment of the society with a positive approach contributing through her Art works in the professional and Academic front.
She is a recipient of BFA(Painting), College of Art Delhi, MFA(Painting), NET- JRF and obtained PH.D in Fine Arts. Presently she is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Painting at College of Art after being selected through UPSC. Apart from her expertise in Paintings since more than a decade, she is also an Art Academician, committee member of various institutions and learned bodies. She has published many research papers, and attended many national and international seminars, workshops and exhibitions in the field of Fine Art.
She is a recipient of many recognitions and awards. Her Art represents various multi-hued figures and non representational gestural drawings related to inner connections and conscious and subconscious thoughts.
