“Aparna Anand Singh Born in New Delhi, Aparna did her BFA from College of Art, Delhi and got Master’s degree from National Museum and Jiwaji University. Worked as visiting Lecturer in College of Art Delhi and Shilp Bharti for many years and currently working with DOE, Govt. of NCT of Delhi and putting her creative inputs with National Integration, PE and Sports Branch . Selected three times for the 43rd, 44th and 49th National Art Exhibition, Lalit Kala Akademi. Participated in many prestigious Art Exhibition in LKA Delhi, Mumbai, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Chandigarh and Jammu. Her works has selected by Bombay Art Society, two times. She has attended several government and non govt. art camps of National repute. One solo show in Mumbai Jehangir Art gallery, participated in a group Exhibition at the Jehangir Art gallery Mumbai (2019).
Participated in the Exhibition organised by Art Times Mumbai (2019), participated in National Kala Mela (2020) organised by Lalit Kala Academy. and participated in an online group show ‘RUDRA’ organised by VR Art Projects in 2021. Also participated in an event “Walking Art” conducted by ISIC Hospital for our frontline warriors. Participated in an Art workshop- “”Azadi Ke Amrit Kaal Ki Shubh Vela: Kalakaron-Shipkaron Ka Mela”” conducted by Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Min. of Culture ,Govt of India in 2022. Aparna has to her credit two scholarship awards from a AIFACS one from College of Art Meritorious Contemporary Women Artist award from Artscapes and State Teacher’s award from Delhi government. Her works are collected with several private collectors, NGO’s in India and Abroad. likes to work in various media Aparna portrays complex human emotional depth through subtle colour applications and strong lines with juxtaposition of scripts from her own poetry. She resides and works in Delhi.”
