Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting from college of Art Delhi 1980, and, Masters Fine Art in Print making from Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan in -1985. went to Camberwell college of Art, London for research associate ship under the Charles Wallace India trust award. He has exhibited in numerous shows in India and abroad, including solo shows.
He has participated in numerous annuals, biennials, triennials in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Korea, Japan, Germany, U.K, U.S.A, Newzeland, Canada, Russia, Egypt, France, Norway, Japan, Bangladesh – including \u2013 Xth Triennial, organized by Lalit Kala Akademi \u2013 N. Delhi,
Ananda is recipient of many Awards and Honours, namely – XXXVI th National Akademi award \u2013 Lalit Kala Akademi. XXth Sahitya Kala Parishad Annual award. 67th and 70thA.I.F.A.C.S Annual awards. Sailoz Mukherjee Award \u2013 COA Delhi – 1980 Charles Wallace India Trust Award. (U.K)-1996, Nagasawa Art Park residency Award (JAPAN) 2001. B.C.Sanyal dedicated teachers award \u2013 Delhi collage of Art- 2008. Critic’s choice award \u2013 World university of design \u2013 2022. as well cultural scholarship and Junior Fellowship from \u2013 Govt of India.
He has attended\/conducted- various Artists camps\/ Workshops in India and abroad, including – \u201cle mois de estampe\u201d in Paris\/ France, and \u201c Japanese traditional Wood block Printmaking\u201d in Ngasawa \/Awazi island \/ Japan.
His works are in collection of major Galleries, Institutions, and Museums in India and abroad, including \u2013 National Gallery of Modern Art \u2013 New Delhi.
He is founder member of \u2013 Indian Printmakers Guild ( 1990 \u2013 2001 ), and Multiple Encounters \u2013 2004 onwards. An active participants in Talks, Seminars and workshops.
