Creativity , being an expression of freedom and originality knows no boundaries except those inherent within itself. This is what Apeksha, a Potter, Muralist and Sculptor from Delhi College Of Art says when one asks her what is art for her and what is her idea behind creating those beautiful Sculptures and Murals adorning the walls and pedestals of her studio at Niti Bagh, South Delhi named PROUD POTTERS CLUB. Having done her Bachelors in Sculpture and Masters with specialization in 3D Murals from College Of Arts ,Delhi, Apeksha has been an ASST PROF (visiting) at College of Art from 2008-2020 Personally, she feels that in different periods and in different moods , different concepts strike her . Some of these concerns offer relief , others stir or provoke.\u201dThis is why she founded her Ceramic and Pottery School named Proud Potters Club in the year 2012, which offers various courses for all age groups \u2013 kids, teens and adults and even senior citizens . Walking towards her goal she has done several large scale 3d Murals in ceramics and mix media at various Public buildings in the city. Ignoring the negativities and enjoying the positive aspects of life has been a point of her interest.She believes that even the ugliest thing on this earth can be beautified through the medium of art -coz everything has an inner beauty which may not be physically seen by human eye but can be translated through the medium of art into a pleasurable experience . Her works depict the positivities of life through the blooming forms of nature .
