“Prof Ghazanfar Zaidi is a proud Alumnus of Delhi College of Art, passing out in 1978.He was the founding Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He spent close to three decades in academics, before retiring from Jamia University. A photographer by practice, Prof Zaidi has held solo-exhibitions of his work on wildlife photography at several galleries. He is also the author and publisher of several well received books including Lockdown through a Balcony, published in 2022.He has been a graphic designer and an artist with several marque book covers and portfolio designs to his credit. He also paints, sculpts and creates art installations using calligraphy as a theme. He lives in New Delhi, India.”
